Transactions – Manufactured Job

You use the Manufactured Job option to create and maintain manufactured jobs in Micronet. These are jobs that are created for the manufacture of items that are built from a series of parts but that you sell as a whole. For example, you might sell bicycles that are manufactured from parts including frames, wheels, pedals and handlebars.

Effectively, a manufactured job draws off materials from suppliers and/or your raw material stock file, as well as labour, then returns the finished product back to your MDS stock file as a finished item. Item/job costs can be tracked through the entire process.

Micronet automatically maintains Work In Progress (WIP) for each job as costs of materials and labour are posted to it, giving concise job cost management.
